Ciona savignyi and Didemnum sp found in Hood Canal and Puget Sound. A few shots from Canada (BC) as well. Please pay particular attention to the photo credits of each photo, as many people have contributed to this gallery.
7/30/07 - Hood Canal across the canal from Twanoh State Park. Super dense populations of Ciona between 40 and 60 feet. Ciona appeared quite young and was very tall. Each individual was barely attached to the substrate. If you waved your hand and created water current, the individuals would just come loose and float around in the water column.
